  • Popis: Ntora, the daughter of shipowner Tzortzis Anastasiadis, falls in love with Ntinos, a young folk-song artist, whose brother Petros, a Navy lieutenant, is reported missing in the sinking of one of his father's vessels. Captain Stathis, Ntinos' father and an ex-convict, follows him at a distance. He hesitates to walk into Ntinos' life again, because Lena, Ntinos' mother, has withheld from her son the information that his father has been in prison because of another shipwreck. His intervention at a critical moment, however, will save Ntora from committing suicide. This incident brings about a change in her father's heart – and paves the way for the happy union of the two love-birds. At the same time, Petros' quite unexpected return restores grieving Lena's happiness, and she gives her blessing to this marriage.
